Nightingale Therapy & Placement Services
Mental health Services in Sudbury, England
Nightingale therapy & Placement services was formed on 1st September 2023 by Sharon Kendall of Kendall Counselling and Peter Myers of In mind counselling,Sharon Kendall and Peter Myers both experienced therapists joined forces to continue to offer an affordable counselling service and placement service as they believed the service to be valuable not only to their local community but to others across the U.K.The name Nightingale was chosen because of what the bird symbolises “a message to us to express ourselves freely, let others see our authentic self and it urges us to express our emotions and not suppress them”, which fits in with their beliefs as counsellors offering clients a space to be able to express their emotions and be true to their authentic self.We believe that everyone should be given the opportunity to be heard and valued in a space which is warm, comforting, and welcoming. A message for clients: “If you are experiencing difficulties or life is off balance and you want a space where your voice can be heard you can talk to us.”A message for trainee counsellors: “If you want a placement who will support you throughout your studies and offer you guidance to help you become the best therapist you can be please contact us.”
